(See Less -) A landscaped garden terrace opens directly from the 24 hours restaurant Mist offering a variety of outdoor dining experiences.
It has been designed as a cool, classical white outdoor space with an iridescent blue pool.Around this are timber pavilions, circular rattan beds and a screen of bamboo. The pavilions, which are enclosed with white curtains, offer private areas for drinking, dining or massage. Two of the pavilions have romantic swing sets, while the round rattan beds can comfortably accommodate a group of people and are shaded by folding canvas canopies giving a unique and engrossed feeling.
This nightspot which is the season’s hottest destination is designer Manish Arora’s favourite place for all his parties and get-to-gethers. Aqua has hosted some famous fashion shows by designers Manish Arora, Deepika Geehani, Mandira Wirk,Rajvi Mohan, the sister duo Gauri & Nainika and the Colour Trends in association with Swarosvki and Fashion Design Council of India.
The open deck, used for sunbathing by day, becomes a stage at night, with a giant revolving mirror ball projecting over the pool. The bar is decorated in a riotous mixture of plain and hand crafted patterned tiles by artist Lubna Chowdhry. A raised seating area cantilevers over the pool and from below this deck, a cascade of water plunges into the pool. Guests can revel and sip their drinks on high stools perched over the pool, safely separated from the water by a clear structural glass balustrade.
The bar offers 163 varieties of wines which comprise of both the new and the old world wines along with unique cocktails which include daiquiris, martinis, seasonal margaritas, champagne and wine cocktails and other poolside beverages.
An international menu of easy, poolside Mediterranean and barbeque cuisine is served.
Traditional recipes, spice mixes, marinade and flavors are used in every preparation. House special chicken liver pate on toast, grilled mushrooms with white wine, garlic and fresh herbs, chicken souvlaki with yougurt mint dip and tomato salad, half a dozen falafels with hummus and aioli and chicken snack platter are just some of the wide range of flavors that permeate the cuisine.
